Eclettico. Se dovessi scegliere una sola parola per descrivere Gabriele Dini e il suo modo di interagire con l’arte userei questa. Dal greco Eklectikos, da Ekòegein, composto da ek fuori e legein scegliere – quindi “trascegliere”, cioè scegliere tra più cose. Il concetto che può essere espresso con questa parola è veramente ampio e descrive a pieno un artista come Gabriele che, attingendo variamente ai diversi interessi che ha saputo coltivare in campo artistico e non, riesce a sintetizzare e armonizzare sculture e installazioni capaci di catturare l’occhio e la sensibilità dello spettatore e stupire sia per il loro impatto visivo che per l’armonia e la fragilità che trasmettono.

Proprio da questo concetto di “fragilità” prende nome la mostra. Tutti bene o male abbiamo sentito parlare di Realtà Aumentata (Augmented Reality) ovvero la possibilità di espandere la percezione sensoriale umana mediante informazioni, in genere convogliate attraverso l’uso dei nuovi media, che non sarebbero percepibili con i cinque sensi. Partendo da questo presupposto è facile arrivare al percorso di Gabriele visualizzandolo come una ricerca nel campo della Fragilità Aumentata.

Eclectic. If I had to choose one word to describe Gabriele Dini and his approach to art I would use this one. From greek Eklectikos from Ekòegein composed by ek (off) and legein (to choose) – then recollect, the action of choosing. The concept that can be expressed by this word is really large and fully describes Gabriele as an artist that picks up different interests. He has been able to grow in the fields of art and synthesize and harmonize sculptures and installations that capture the eyes and the sensibility of the viewer.

The exhibition has been introduced by the concept of Fragility in reletionship with the matter and digital matter. Most of us heard of Augmented Reality, the ability to expand the human sensory perception through information, usually conveyed through the use of new media, that would not be perceived with the five senses. Considering this, it is easy to get to the investigation of Gabriele, viewing it as a research in the subject of Augmented Fragility.
