L’amore per l’Arte, la scelta d’essere scultore, nasce da un pensiero principale: scolpire della musica.

L’idea è quella di combinare l’Old School scultoreo della più vera tradizione italiana con la magia della musica,con il Rock n’Roll. Con il Reggae, lo Ska, il Blues, l’Hard Core, il Punk Rock… opere che si materializzano dalla fusione dei ritmi dei grandi maestri: Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini e poi Rauschenberg, Vangi, Finotti… con i ritmi dei miei gruppi: da J. Cash, Muddy Waters a Bob Marley, D. Dekker fino ai Ramones, G.B.H., Rancid…

Questo concetto è alla base di ogni mio lavoro, è l’attitudine che porta le mie creazioni, le mie tracks. Sculture che prendono vita da una canzone che mi scorre in testa, spontanee, senza limiti di materiali o dimensioni, che cerco ed elaboro proprio come scale ed accordi legati a comporre un’armonia; a dare forma ad un sentimento.

Fino alla scultura in marmo, la più antica della storia, ma riproposta oggi in chiave di LA, con gli stessi ritmi incalzanti e la stessa voglia di esprimersi e comunicare del Rock’n’Roll!

The love for Art and the choice of being a sculptor come from one main thought: sculpting music.

The idea is to combine the sculptural Old School, the truest italian tradition, with the magic of music, with Rock’n Roll, with Reggae, Ska, Blues, Hard Core, Punk Rock… Works that take shape from the masters rythms: Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini and than Rauschenberg, Vangi, Finotti… with the beats from my bands: J. Cash, Muddy Waters to Bob Marley, D. Dekker to the Ramones, G.B.H., Rancid…

This concept is at the base of each of my works, it’s the attitude that my creations carry my tracks. Sculptures that come to life from a song running through my head, spontaneus without limits in material or size, i search for and elaborate as if with scales and chords that are bound into composing harmony; giving shape to a feeling.

Ending with the marble sculpture, the oldest in history yet reproposed today in LA, with the same kicking beats and the same desire to express and comunicate Rock’n’Roll!
